The GEP-M10 series is GEPRC's compact GPS line, built on the u-blox M10050 chip. It supports GPS + BDS + Galileo + QZSS + SBAS joint positioning across up to 32 satellites, with a built-in Flash chip and Farad capacitor that save configuration and give a fast hot start.

The series comes in six models: the tiny GEP-M10nano (12x12mm antenna, 15x15mm board) for micro builds, and the standard GEP-M10 size (18x18mm antenna, 22x22mm board) available GPS-only or with an optional QMC5883L or IST8310 magnetometer and DPS310 barometer. Suitable for most FPV quadcopters, multirotors and fixed-wing models.

Model Size Magnetometer (compass) Barometer Interface
GEP-M10nano 15x15mm, 12mm antenna — — UART
GEP-M10 22x22mm, 18mm antenna — — UART
GEP-M10Q 22x22mm, 18mm antenna QMC5883L — UART + I2C
GEP-M10-DQ 22x22mm, 18mm antenna QMC5883L DPS310 UART + I2C
GEP-M10I 22x22mm, 18mm antenna IST8310 — UART + I2C
GEP-M10-DI 22x22mm, 18mm antenna IST8310 DPS310 UART + I2C

Q = QMC5883L compass, I = IST8310 compass, D = DPS310 baro. Need a bigger 25mm antenna? See the GEP-M1025 Series.

  • Weight: 4.1g (M10nano), 7.8g (M10)

Wiring & setup

  • GPS: TX/RX to a free UART on the flight controller (TX to RX, RX to TX), plus 5V and GND. M10nano and M10 use 4 wires.
  • Compass / baro models (Q, DQ, I, DI): also connect SDA/SCL to the FC's I2C pads. Without I2C the GPS still works for GPS Rescue / RTH, just without compass and baro.
  • Firmware: Betaflight 4.3 or newer (older versions don't support M10), INAV and ArduPilot.
  • INAV compass alignment: QMC5883 = CW 0° flip, IST8310 = CW 90° flip.
  • Mounting: antenna side up, away from the VTX, power leads and motors.

In the box

  • 1 x GPS module (model as selected)
  • 1 x terminal wire
  • 1 x instruction manual
  • 1 x GEPRC sticker
  • 1 x heat shrink tubing

Note: due to DPS310 supply constraints, GEPRC may ship the DPS368 barometer on D models instead. There is no difference in performance or usage between the two.
