Skyzone Cobra X V4 5.8GHz 48CH FPV Goggles

The Skyzone Cobra X V4 is a box-style analog FPV goggle with a 4:3 / 16:9 switchable LCD screen at 1280x720. The high-luminance display upscales a standard-definition analog feed with vivid colour and sharp detail, letting you pick out gates and thin branches more easily than lower-resolution box goggles.

The included SteadyView V3.3 receiver does more than standard diversity switching — it actively merges two incoming analog signals into one, eliminating the image tearing and rolling that happens when signal gets weak. In practice that means a noticeably more stable picture in difficult RF environments.

The V4 revision adds an upgraded 60FPS DVR unit and a revised power management board. The box form factor fits comfortably over most prescription glasses, and the shuttle wheel lets you change every setting without taking the goggles off. The new OS supports 10 languages.

Compatibility

• Works with: any 5.8GHz analog VTX on the standard 48 channels - including whoop boards with built-in VTX (BETAFPV Matrix 1S 5IN1 II, Air 5IN1) and stand-alone analog VTXs.
• Does not work with: DJI, Walksnail or HDZero digital systems; 1.2GHz or 3.3GHz VTXs (they need their own receiver); or extended-band channels below / above the 48 standard ones on wideband VTXs.
• Cobra X or Cobra SD? The X has the SteadyView receiver and a 1280x720 screen; the Cobra SD is the cheaper 800x480 diversity version.
• Power: 18650 cell or 2-6S LiPo - battery not included.
