The AOS RC Supernova 1404 4000KV takes the design approach of the Supernova 3220 and scales it down for sub-250g 2.5–3" cinewhoops and freestyle quads. Tuned and tested by Chris Rosser and manufactured by RCinPower, it is optimised for 2.5" bullnose or 3" tri-blade props on 4S.
Features
- Around 25% more thrust than typical 1404 motors on 2.5–3" props
- Around 30% more torque thanks to a thicker flux ring and tuned magnet overhang — helpful on heavier cinewhoops
- Efficiency on par with the best 1404 motors

Compatibility
- Battery: 3-4S only - not 6S.
- Mount: 1404 class, normally 9 x 9mm M2 - fits 2.5-3" frames with 9mm motor holes.
- Shaft 1.5mm - 2.5-3" props with 1.5mm holes or T-mount. 2mm-hole props (e.g. Gemfan 3016) will be loose.
- ESC: 25A+ per motor (AIO 35-45A is ideal).
