The system watches for interference and jumps to a cleaner channel in real time to keep your feed clear. Prefer to set it yourself? Manual channel selection is still there.

Hear your flight, live

The onboard mic picks up motor whine, prop wash and the world around you and sends it down the link with the video. Record on Ascent Goggles or the Ascent VRX Pro and your audio and video are already in sync — no post-dubbing needed.

Go further — up to 8km

In ideal conditions the Lite+ holds an HD link out to 8km, giving long-range cruisers and wing pilots room to explore. (The 8km figure is a best-case one-way test on a fixed-wing; real range depends on terrain, interference, antennas and battery.)

Look around with your head

Pair with Ascent Goggles and a CaddxFPV GM1 V2 or GM3 V2 gimbal and the camera follows your head movement for a natural, immersive view. The GM3 V2 needs the Ascent Lite+ CNC adapter to mount.

FAQ

What do I need to see the video?
It works directly with Walksnail Ascent Goggles. For any other HDMI goggles, monitor or TV, add the Ascent VRX or Ascent VRX Pro receiver.

Does it work with Walksnail Avatar goggles or VTXs?
No. The Lite+ belongs to the Ascent system and is not compatible with Avatar.

Can it record footage onboard?
No — there is no built-in storage. Record on your Ascent Goggles or the Ascent VRX Pro (microSD).

Is audio recorded too?
Yes, when paired with Ascent Goggles or the Ascent VRX Pro. Synced audio and video record at 720p 60/100/120fps or 1080p 60fps.

Will I really get 8km?
8km is the maximum tested in ideal conditions on a fixed-wing. Expect less in real-world flying depending on environment, interference, antenna setup and battery level.

What latency should I expect?
As low as ~35ms in open, interference-free conditions; it varies with RF environment and settings.
