charge + sim
The Jumper Smart is a compact, gamepad-style ExpressLRS radio and the successor to the Jumper T-Lite V2. It packs a bright 2-inch colour screen, hall sensor gimbals and a built-in 2.4GHz ELRS module into a body small enough to throw in any FPV bag — an easy first radio for new pilots and a handy travel radio for whoop and micro flyers.
Pick your colour
Available here in Grey and Blue — same radio, same features, just choose the look you like.
Built-in ExpressLRS
The integrated 2.4GHz ELRS module gives you a fast, low-latency, open-source control link that binds to any ELRS 2.4GHz receiver — which covers most modern FPV quads, whoops and wings. Output is capped at 100mW, which is plenty for park flying, freestyle and whoop sessions.
Smooth, precise hall gimbals
Hall sensor gimbals on an 8-bearing structure have no wiping contacts to wear out, so stick feel stays smooth and centring stays accurate over time — exactly what helps new pilots build clean throttle control and muscle memory.
A real colour screen
Most radios at this size use a small monochrome display. The Smart has a 2-inch full-colour IPS panel (320×240), so menus, model setup and telemetry are far easier to read — even outdoors.
Foldable antenna, controls where you need them
The omni-directional antenna rotates and folds flat for transport. Two switches, two rotary pots and four buttons sit within easy reach for arming, flight modes, beepers and turtle mode.
Charge it, then practise on the sim
Runs on a single 18650 Li-ion cell that charges straight through USB-C. The same USB-C port — or the 3.5mm jack — connects to your PC for Liftoff, Uncrashed, VelociDrone and other simulators, so you can practise before risking a real quad.
Good to know before you buy
- Firmware is JumperTX, not EdgeTX. JumperTX is Jumper's own system based on OpenTX — simpler to learn, but with fewer customisation options and EdgeTX cannot be installed.
- No external module bay, so it can't take a multi-protocol or higher-power ELRS module. It only controls ELRS 2.4GHz receivers.
- 100mW maximum output — great for whoops, park and freestyle flying; long-range pilots should choose a higher-power radio.
- 18650 battery not included.

FAQ
Will it work with my drone?
Yes, if the drone has an ExpressLRS 2.4GHz receiver — most current BNF whoops and freestyle quads do. It will not work with FlySky, FrSky, Crossfire or 900MHz ELRS receivers.
Is it good for a beginner?
Very. Setup is simple, the colour screen is easy to read, and it doubles as a simulator controller for practice.
Can I install EdgeTX on it?
No. It runs JumperTX only. If you want EdgeTX and an external module bay, look at radios like the RadioMaster Pocket.
What battery does it use?
One 18650 Li-ion cell (sold separately), charged in the radio via USB-C.
